KINA (910 AM) is a radio station broadcasting the message / talk format. Licensed to Salina, Kansas, United States, the station serves Salina and the northwest communities. The station is currently owned by Eagle Communications. KINA was originally aired in April 1964. As KLSI. Disc jockey from Missouri, Sam Bradley, fought the broadcaster Kansas Sherwood Parks for the original building permit (CP) for almost six years, starting around 1958, until they agreed that the station would be broadcast together in 1964. Together with Grower Cobb and mother Cobb Ruth as shareholders. Telephone lists changed to KINA in September 1970. Parks bought out their partners in February 1979, and then sold the KINA at the end of the same year to a group of Topeka businessmen, Smoky Hill Broadcasting cares.
