Capital FM is a privately owned, commercial, Adult Contemporary (AC) radio station that was launched on 29th March 1999 in Blantyre, Malawi. The Station was the second commercial station to be launched in Malawi and due to its mature, interactive and thought- provoking programming content now boasts majority listenership amongst Malawi’s niche market of upwardly mobile, urban based decision makers, business people and trendy, urban young adults.
