WUAL-FM (91.5 FM) is an American non-commercial educational radio station licensed to operate Tuscaloosa in Alabama. The station, founded in 1972, is owned by the University of Alabama and is the flagship branch of Alabama Public Radio, broadcasting a program on the network including information and discussion programs, classical music, folk music, jazz, an alternative to adult albums and nostalgic music programs. The 100,000 watt station signal covers a region extending beyond Birmingham in the east and beyond the Mississippi state line in the west.
