107.7 The Lake
WLKK (107.7 FM) is an American radio station located in Wethersfield, New York. Broadcasting at a frequency of 107.7 MHz, the station is owned by Entercom Communications and is operated at the Buffalo suburb of Amherst, New York studios (for legal purposes, WLKK's official studio is shared with WCJW in Warsaw, a legal fiction that ended with the elimination of the main studio rule by the FCC in 2017). Perhaps at least in part due to the station's unique ability to cover the Buffalo and Rochester radio markets with a single shot signal, the WLKK is known for its frequent format changes. Since the early 1980s, the station has changed its shape approximately once every four to seven years.
